is built in part of an old carriage house in my backyard, honoring my Pekingese and muse, Moosh.  I require a working environment with a strong creative current, which I achieved in a recent revamp of my studio.  Saturated jewel tones in maximalism decor, mixed with my strange style, and solitude provides a nice womb for me to make art, energizing and inspiring me.

After parsing through my process, my work often feels bigger than me and communal with everything - but everything has to be just so or I find myself distracted.  With a renewed commitment to make, I am  playing around with new finishes for sculptural assemblage art.

I focus on simplified, repeated shapes in monochromatic or intense color, with hidden questions and answers to the universe, making each piece unique to my style and meaningful to me.  I recently retired from a thirty year career in web development, graphic design, and publishing.  It was difficult to leave that life behind, but writing dramas with a few shapes and colors as my subject, paired with the "coded" intention is helping me to bridge the gap.
