Yuelin (Jessica) Chen was born in Chongqing, China. She studied drawing and painting at Sichuan Art Institute before she came to America in 2011. From 2013 to 2015, she studied watercolor and acrylic painting at Blue Mountain College. From 2015 to 2017, she went to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco to study vine charcoal drawing, printmaking, and oil painting. From 2017 to 2020, she studied art at the Middle Tennessee State University and obtained a degree of Bachelor of Science in Visual Art in May 2020. After she graduated MTSU, she is working at Germantown Elementary school and Germatown Middle School for substitute teacher. In the future, she wants to be a classroom art teacher at MSCS.
