Leigh Tanner started making mosaics around 2010, then had to put it aside due to job and family responsibilities. She started again in earnest in 2023. Since then, she has attended several workshops and expanded her knowledge of substrates, adhesives and tessarae to include not just broken dishes and precut tiles, but Italian and Mexican smalti, stained glass, natural stone and micro mosaics.
