Summary
I attempt to paint spaces where human geometry meets the organic world. Whether it’s the sweeping ironwork of a cathedral, a stone bridge over a concrete channel, or train tracks disappearing into a dense tree line, I’m drawn to structure, perspective, and the way light carves out a scene.
My process starts with quenching the canvas’s thirst for paint. Once that first layer of paint is down and the surface stops fighting back, I build depth through high contrast, bold light, and meticulous line-work. I don’t overcomplicate the theory—I just like wrestling paint into place until a space feels real, lived-in, and worth stepping into.
