Judge’s Comments:
“So many of the works are an inch away from being GOOD! My compass in judging is “Does the work make me want to look at it, and does it draw me back.” No explanation needed…sometimes it is use of color, or edges, or design, or many other elements but it’s always that magical quality we call art.
Please don’t feel discouraged if your work didn’t win or make the cut. If I or another judge saw this exhibit next week, the results could be different. I admire each artist represented.” – Jamie McMahan
