I am a fairly new member of this organization, but I have enjoyed a lot of crafts and in recent years painting in Watercolor, Acrylic and oils.  I have studied with various local artists, but still consider myself to be self-taught.  Since joining MGAL, I’ve had the privilege of selling/donating some of my paintings.  My subjects are always something meaningful to me and have a bit of a story behind them.  I’m also a writer and hope to have my first book published by fall of this year.  I’ve been working on “Mixed Up Blessings” for fifty years!
