Born Greenwood, MS, married Carolyn Perkins Gibson, 4 children, 6 grandchildren; Architect Emeritus, attorney (inactive), and Vietnam Veteran (Cobra Attack Helicopter pilot) Captain U. S. Army Corps of Engineers; interests are in oil painting, ceramic sculpture, pottery, and drawing; member of the Oil Painters of America, past President and Platinum Star member of the Memphis Germantown Art  League,  Plein Air Memphis, and The Delta Art Association (Mississippi); Past President of the Memphis Germantown Art League and past editor of the MGAL  Newsletter.
