According to the juror, Jim Hardin, “MGAL has a wonderful group of talented artists that are very diversified in their mediums, which made the exhibition very difficult to judge.”  He added, “This is an exhibition that speaks well for itself and all those who entered it.  It should make MGAL members very proud.”

The art will be available to review and enjoy at the Town Hall during regular service hours, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm through October 29th.

The MGAL is a nonprofit organization of visual artists and associates supporting the work of its member artists.  The League’s purpose is to aid its member artists in their professional growth and in the development of their artistic skills by providing exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, and other continuing education opportunities.

In addition, the League works to enrich the community by presenting original fine art in public exhibits and by participating in other community art activities.  MGAL supports art education in the schools and awards a prize each year to an outstanding high school senior.  The League’s annual activities also include a juried national art exhibition and competition with entry open to all U. S. visual artists 18 or over.
